Callum Shinkwin claimed the second DP World Tour win of his career when landing the Cazoo Open title in August 2022. A look at Callum Shinkwin: What’s In The Bag.
Englishman Shinkwin was able to cruise to a four-shot victory after finishing on 12-under at Celtic Manor in the Welsh Open despite a one-under par final round.
Shinkwin had already done the hard work across the opening three rounds, and was four shots clear of Connor Syme who was in turn three ahead of five players on five-under par.
It was Shinkwin’s second DP World Tour win following his only previous success at this level in the Aphrodite Hills Cyprus Open in November 2020.
Shinkwin missed out on the Scottish Open title in a play-off with Rafael Cabrera Bello in 2017.
The win moved Shinkwin up from 304th to 157th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
