Paula Reto: What’s In The Bag

Paula Reto Bag

Paula Reto claimed her first LPGA success at the CP Women’s Open in August 2022. A look at Paula Reto: What’s In The Bag.

The South African shot a final round of four-under par in the CP Women’s Open to finish on 19-under par for the week at the Ottawa Hunt & Golf Club in Canada following a course record 62 on the opening day.

It was enough for a one shot victory over Nelly Korda and Hye-Jin Choi and have 32-year-old Reto her first LPGA Tour title after a long wait for success.

Reto has played for nine years on the LPGA having come through Q School in 2013, with victory escaping her until the CP Women’s Open title was in the bag.

Reto’s only previous professional win came on the Sunshine Ladies Tour when she finally broke her duck with success in the Supersport Ladies Challenge in February 2022.

The victory in Canada moved Reto up 86 places in the Women’s World Golf Rankings to 56th.
