The second generation of the ZX5 irons are now narrower in profile and with improved feel from the new forged design.

Srixon have taken a top performer and tweaked them, most notably with the topline narrowed for a more compact look over the ball.

The ZX5 Mk II irons are cavity back in design, but with a forged club head that delivers impressive ball speeds from across the face and maximum distance.

As well as a model blade length and offset, they now feature an improved Tour V.T. Sole with higher bounce on the leading edges to provides better ball striking from fairway, rough or sand traps.

The new design also features wide grooves on the longer irons (3-iron to 7-iron) while the grooves are deeper in 8-iron to wedges for more spin and control on approach shots.

The irons are available in 3-iron (20 degrees), 4-iron (22 degrees), 5-iron (24 degrees), 6-iron (27 degrees), 7-iron (31 degrees), 8-iron (35 degrees), 9-iron (39 degrees), Pitching Wedge (44 degrees) and A Wedge (50 degrees).

The changes made from the original models are more tweaks than dramatic alterations, but each of them helps improve performance.

From perfect the launch angle to improving the turf interaction with a new sole design, Srixon have extracted even more from this ZX iron.
