Kingswood Golf Club Review | Surrey
A hidden gem to play in Surrey...
Kingswood Golf Club is one of the hidden gems of Surrey…not a mean feat when you consider some of the competition in a country rich with top class golf courses.
First built in 1927, almost of century of golf has been played on James Braid’s impressive design – and Howard Swan’s subsequent revisions, all of which is a short drive from Tadworth.
Owned by the Dwellcourt Group, Kingswood GC boasts an 18-room The Lodge on site, making the venue ideal for a golf break.
The course is a 6,954-yard parkland layout overlooking the Chipstead valley and stands around a mile from the famous Walton Heath.
The trio of holes from 14-16 form the signature part of the course, it all starting with the lengthened 531-yard par-5 14th.
The 14th is swiftly followed by tough par-4s in the shape of the 385-yard 15th and 470-yard 16th.
