The Women’s Scottish Open, was first played in 1986 when first added to the Ladies European Tour calendar. It is now co-sanctioned with the LPGA Tour, which began in 2017.

The 2022 Ladies European Tour event is being played Dundonald Links in Troon, Scotland, where it was last held at in 2017. The venue also staged the tournament in 2015 and 2016

The event has also been held at Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, Cawder, The Carrick, Archerfield Links, Gullane, Renaissance Club and Dumbarnie Links.

Ryann O’Toole is the reigning champion after winning the Women’s Scottish Open in 2021.

Recent champions include Meredith Marshall, Laura Davies, Alison Nicholls, Sophie Gustafson, Catriona Matthew, Carly Booth, Trish Johnson and Stacy Lewis.

The Women’s Scottish Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Dundonald Links in Troon, Scotland, with a cut after the opening two rounds.
