The Hot Launch C524 driver continues as Tour Edge’s budget-friendly design vs the more premium Exotics range, but that doesn’t mean it is short on innovation and technology.

The latest release incorporates several key design elements and that contribute to impressive performance, most notable in the Ridgeback Technology which appears in a Hot Launch model for the first time.

The Ridgeback Technology enhances structural integrity and power distribution across the face, while also serving as a visual alignment aid due to the unique design on top of the carbon crown.

The MOI-boosting rear sole weight in this design helps elevates the MOI and also helps contribute towards a more stable, forgiving clubhead that has a deeper CG.

The combination helps improve launch angle, deliver a preferred trajectory and ball flight and also helps add to the forgiveness on offer from the C524.

Tour Edge’s Diamond Face VFT technology is included and features 37 diamond-shaped structures behind the face, optimizing face flexing for increased ball speeds and reduced spin even on off-center hits.

The RyzerSole Rail design also plays a part in lowering the CG and producing a high launch, while the 360° Cup Face Design ensures maximum face flexing for higher ball speeds from the premium 6-4 Titanium club face.

Tour Edge Hot Launch C524 Driver Review: Is it any good?

The C524 driver is the most advanced Hot Launch model and outperforms its price tag and some.

A relatively budget-friendly model, it is suited to golfers with medium-to-fast swing speeds and delivers eye-catching ball speeds and distance without sacrificing forgiveness.

We found the spin rates off the tee to be lower than expected and the launch angle meant we could eek out some extra yardage.

The only negative we could put against the C524 is the lack of adjustability. If you like to tinker with driver setup, it probably isn’t for you.
