Mackenzie Hughes: What’s In The Bag

Mackenzie Hughes Bag

Mackenzie Hughes ended a six-year drought as he claimed his second PGA success at the Sanderson Farms Championship in October 2022. A look at Mackenzie Hughes: What’s In The Bag.

The Canadian finished on 17-under at the Country Club of Jackson in the Sanderson Farms Championship to end in a tie with Sepp Straka.

It took two play-off holes to finally seal victory with a birdie on the second extra hole enough for Hughes to edge out Straka.

Hughes’ only previous PGA Tour win came back in 2016 when winning the RSM Classic. It was a five-way play-off that Hughes came through on that occasion.

Before the victory in the Sanderson Farms Championship, Hughes was ranked 82nd in the Official World Golf Rankings. He jumped up 31 places to 51st in the world.
