The BMW International Open is the latest event of the 2023 DP World Tour season as the action returns from a one-week break while the US Open took place.
The tournament takes place at Golfclub München Eichenried once again for 2023 with the venue having staged the last three editions.
The event first joined the European Tour in 1989 and has been staged in Cologne at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof and at St. Eurach Land-und-Golfclub south of Munich previously.
Li Haotong is the reigning champion after winning the tournament in 2022 in a play-off with Thomas Pieters in Germany.
Former winners of the BMW International Open include Paul Azinger, Sandy Lyle, Colin Montgomerie, Thomas Bjorn, John Daly, Lee Westwood, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Henrik Stenson, Martin Kaymer, Ernie Els and Viktor Hovland.

The BMW International Open golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Golfclub München Eichenried in Germany. There is a cut at the 36-hole stage.
- Day 1 – Thursday, June 22
- Day 2 – Friday, June 23
- Day 3 – Saturday, June 24
- Day 4 – Sunday, June 25
The tournament carries a prize fund of $2,000,000.
