The tournament is the season-opening event of the 2023 LPGA Tour season, and is being played on the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida, United States.
The Tournament of Champions is the equivalent of the PGA’s season-opening tournament and features LPGA Tour winners from the past two years only.
It was was first held in 2019 at the Four Seasons Golf & Sports Club Orlando before moving to Lake Nona in 2022.
Danielle Kang is the reigning champion after winning the tournament in 2022.
Other former winners are Ji Eun-Hee, Gaby Lopez and Jessica Korda.
