The 2023 The Ascendant LPGA benefitting Volunteers of America golf takes place from October 5-8 at the Old American Golf Club at The Colony. Watch a 2023 The Ascendant LPGA live stream of all the action.

The tournament, formerly known as the Texas Shootout, is part of the 2023 LPGA Tour season and is being played at the Old American Golf Club at The Colony in Dallas, Texas, United States.

The Ascendant LPGA was first held in 2013 and has been staged as the North Texas LPGA Shootout, Volunteers of America North Texas Shootout Presented by JTBC, Volunteers of America Texas Shootout Presented by JTBC, Volunteers of America LPGA Texas Classic and Volunteers of America Classic previously.

It was held at Las Colinas Country Club from 2013-2017 before moving to the Old American Golf Club in 2018.

Charley Hull is the reigning champion after winning The Ascendant LPGA in 2022.

Previous champions include Inbee Park, Stacy Lewis, Jenny Shin, Haru Nomura, Park Sung-hyun, Cheyenne Knight, Angela Stanford and Ko-Jin Young.

The Ascendant LPGA benefitting Volunteers of America will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the Old American Golf Club in Dallas, Texas, United States, with a cut after the opening two rounds.

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $1,800,000 USD.
