The BMW International Open is the latest event of the 2024 DP World Tour season as part of the European Swing element of the calendar.
The tournament takes place at Golfclub München Eichenried once again for 2024 with the venue having staged the last four editions.
The event first joined the European Tour in 1989 and has been staged in Cologne at Golf Club Gut Lärchenhof and at St. Eurach Land-und-Golfclub south of Munich previously.
Thriston Lawrence is the reigning champion after winning the tournament in 2023.
Former winners of the BMW International Open include Paul Azinger, Sandy Lyle, Colin Montgomerie, Thomas Bjorn, John Daly, Lee Westwood, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Henrik Stenson, Martin Kaymer, Ernie Els, Viktor Hovland and Li Haotong.

The BMW International Open golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Golfclub München Eichenried in Germany. There is a cut at the 36-hole stage.
- Day 1 – Thursday, July 4
- Day 2 – Friday, July 5
- Day 3 – Saturday, July 6
- Day 4 – Sunday, July 7
The tournament carries a prize fund of $2,000,000.
