The tournament brings together PGA Tour and LPGA Tour in mixed pairings teams, and is now into the third edition after first being held in 2023.
The inaugural Grant Thornton Invitational was won by Jason Day and Lydia Ko at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, while Jake Knapp and Patty Tavatanakit were crowned champions last year in 2024.
The team tournament is played in mixed pairs with round one played as a Scramble format, round two an Modified Alternate Shot format and round three a Modified Four-Ball format.

Grant Thornton Invitational Format & Schedule
The Grant Thornton Invitational will be played over three rounds at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.
The format is a mixed pairs event with round one played as a Scramble format, round two an Modified Alternate Shot format and round three a Modified Four-Ball format.
- Day 1 – Friday, December 12
- Day 2 – Saturday, December 13
- Day 3 – Sunday, December 14
The Grant Thornton Invitational prize money is $4 million with $1 million going to the winners.
