The annual event, previously known as the Father/Son Championship, as been held since 1995 as a traditional end of year tournament.

The 2025 PNC Championship takes place at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida, and once against features a top class teams of parent and child or parent and grandchild.

Bernhard Langer and son Jason are the reigning champions after winning the title in both 2023 and 2024 and they are back again as one of 20 pairings in the 2025 PNC Championship.

The tournament was previously played at Vero Beach, Twin Eagles Golf Club, The Ocean Club in Paradise Island, Bahamas and Champions Gate Golf Resort.

PNC Championship Format & Schedule

The PNC Championship is preceded by a Pro-Am and is then played over two rounds / 72 holes at Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Florida.

It is played as a betterball pairs format with both players hit their tee shots and the team the selects the better shot. Both players then play their next shot from that location.

This process continues until the hole is completed, with the lowest score for each hole counting towards the team’s total score.

Five different sets of tees are used based on age and skill levels to make the PNC Championship for all 20 pairings.

• Day 1 – Saturday, December 20
• Day 2 – Sunday, December 21

The PNC Championship tournament carries a prize fund of $1,000,000 with $200,000 going to the winning team.
