The event was first held in 2015 as a new event on the PGA Tour and takes place on the same weekend as the 2026 Scottish Open.
For the first time in 2022, the tournament was co-sanctioned by the PGA Tour and the DP World Tour and that remains the case in 2025.
The ISCO Championship, which was formerly known as the Barbasol Championship, moved to Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky, for the first time in 2025 and remains there.
William Mouw is the reigning champion having won the event in 2025.
Other former winners of the event include Scott Piercy, Aaron Baddeley, Grayson Murray, Troy Merritt, Jim Herman, Seamus Power, Trey Mullinax, Vincent Norrman and Harry Hall.

The ISCO Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Hurstbourne Country Club in Louisville, Kentucky, with a cut after the opening two rounds.
