Scottie Scheffler is the reigning champion after winning the 2025 Open Championship at Royal Portrush. He heads the betting odds favourites for the 2026 Open.
Scheffler joined a roll of honour that includes former winners Old Tom Morris, Young Tom Morris, Harry Vardon, James Braid, Sam Snead, Gary Player, Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, Tony Jacklin and Tom Watson.
