The 2028 Solheim Cup will be staged at Valhalla in Kentucky with the LPGA announcing the venue four years out from the event.
In August 2024, it was revealed that Valhalla in Louisville, Kentucky, will host the 21st Solheim Cup and create history in doing so.
Valhalla will become just the fourth venue to host both the Solheim Cup and the Ryder Cup, following in the footsteps of The Greenbrier, Muirfield Village and Gleneagles.
The United States and Team Europe will collide in another thrilling edition of the Solheim Cup, which will become the first major women’s event to be staged at Valhalla.
It will follow the upcoming 2024 Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia and the 2026 Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf in Cromvoirt in the Netherlands.
The Valhalla Golf Club has previously staged the 1996, 2000, 2014 and 2024 USPGA Championships, the 2004 and 2011 Senior USPGA Championships and the 2008 Ryder Cup.
2028 Solheim Cup Dates
The dates for the event have yet to be revealed, but it is expected that it will take place in the usual mid-September timeframe that the Solheim Cup has been noted for.
