The event was first held in 2019 as a new event on the PGA Tour calendar and is just the fourth edition in 2022.

The 3M Open is played at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Cameron Champ is the reigning champion having won the event in 2021.

Other former winners of the event include Matt Wolff, who won the inaugural 3M Open in 2019, and Michael Thompson.

3M Open Golf Format & Schedule

The 3M Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes on the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minneapolis, Minnesota, with a cut after the opening two rounds.

• Day 1 – Thursday, July 21
• Day 2 – Friday, July 22
• Day 3 – Saturday, July 23
• Day 4 – Sunday, July 24

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $7,500,000 USD.
