The 2025 US Open golf takes place at Oakmont Country Club in Pennsylvania, and will be the 10th time the venue has staged the tournament – more than any other US Open host.
The US Open has previously been held at the venue in 1927, 1935, 1953, 1962, 1973, 1983, 1994, 2007 and 2016, the most recent when Dustin Johnson triumphed.
Oakmont has also previously hosted the PGA Championship in 1922, 1951 and 1978 as well as the US Women’s Opens in 1992 and 2010 and the US Amateur Championship six times.
The 125th US Open will once again be the third of the year’s majors in the traditional Father’s Day weekend slot.
Bryson DeChambeau is the reigning champion after winning the 2024 US Open at Pinehurst Resort.
