The golf course is named after legendary cowboy and gambler Black Jack Pershing, who was known for his love of golf.

The course features narrow fairways, strategically placed bunkers and undulating greens with water in play on a number of holes, the pick being the signature short par-3 17th hole known as “Iron Bridge”.
