Bettinardi HLX 6.0 wedges are the latest generation and new for 2025 with a refined design and advanced technology compared to the 5.0 version.

The HLX 6.0 features tighter groove spacing compared to the 5.0 and promotes lower launch trajectory for greater control over approach shots and chips.

Bettinardi have also improved the design of the heel and toe areas and the grinds to make the wedges more versatile to a variety of conditions than in any previous model.

The new wedges can be paired with the CB24 (cavity back) and MB24 (muscle back) irons, Bettinardi’s first irons that were launched in 2024.

The HLX 6.0 is the latest generation of Bettinardi’s wedges with the 2025 release building upon the success of previous models with new technologies and design elements.

The wedges once again have a forged construction with the clubhead made from soft 1020 forged carbon steel for premium feel and performance, and a thinner top line for a more appealing look at address.

The head weight has been reduced by to grams, which might not sound much but has resulted in better overall balance and swing feel.

The HLX 6.0 features a new tighter groove spacing design – known as High Helix Cut Grooves – compared to the 5.0 for significantly improved spin and control around the greens.

The launch characteristics have also been altered in the latest design with a raised center of gravity promoting a lower trajectory, which enhances stopping power with shots around the green.

A re-engineered leading edge for optimized turf interaction and consistent ball striking from both the C Grind and RJ Grind options.

Other changes have seen the RJ grind in the 6.0 refined with more relief in the heel and toe areas for improved versatility from various lies and course conditions as well as more forgiveness.

The HLX 6.0 forged wedges were launched in two finishes – Chrome and Graphite PVD – and have now added a Molten Copper PVD version. They are available in lofts from 48 degrees to 60 degrees.

Bettinardi’s 5.0 wedges were a solid performer and some excellent improvements have been made to the 2025 version known as the HLX 6.0.

They provide precision and control in all aspect of the short game, from those 100-yard approach shots to delicate chips around the greens.

The grooves definitely offer that bit extra in terms of spin control, while the lower launch of these wedges give you more confidence to attack pins and control your ball.

All in all a great new addition and the fact Bettinardi have got the price point down is even better.
