Cobra Golf King TEC Mini Driver Specs & Design

The King TEC Mini Driver has been designed to bridge the gap between drivers and fairway woods and it delivers one of the mini driver performances on the market.

The Mini Driver features a multi-material construction with a lightweight titanium body paired with a multi-layer carbon crown.

The carbon crown is significantly lighter than titanium, allowing Cobra to redistribute weight lower and deeper in the sole to improve launch and stability.

The design ensures the compact 303cc footprint remains as forgiving as a much larger head while maintaining a confidence-inspiring square profile at address.

Cobra’s PWRSHELL H.O.T. Face (Highly Optimized Topology) insert is incorporated with AI-designed variable thickness patterns expanding the sweet spot and boosting ball speeds on off-center hits.

The SMARTPAD technology, meanwhile, ensures the face angle remains square at address regardless of the hosel setting for consistent performance upon impact.

The sole features an interchangeable weighting system consisting of a 12g heavy weight and a 2g lighter weight. The heavy weight can be positioned forward for a penetrating ball flight or back for a higher launch and more forgiveness.

The King Tec Mini driver also features Cobra’s FutureFit33 Adjustable Hosel for 33 unique loft and lie settings – a figure that is more than double that of its closest competitors.

The Mini Driver comes in standard loft of 13.5 degrees, which can be adjustable for three degrees (1.5 up and 1.5 down). The hosel also allows for a 2-degree flatter lie setting.
