The Swedish star is rising through the ranks and earned a two shot victory in the GAC Rosa Tour Challenge in Poland for his biggest win to date.

Townsend, who is the son of former PGA Tour and Ryder Cup player Peter, finished on 15-under par in the GAC Rosa Tour Challenge, two clear of Anton Albers.

His other professional win came on the Nordic Golf League in 2024 when taking the title at the Titleist Championship in a playoff with fellow Swede Joakim Wikstrom.

Prior to turning professional in 2023, Townsend enjoyed a strong amateur career including co-medalist honors in the 2021 US Amateur and runner-up at the 2022 European Amateur Team Championship.

Townsend played college golf at Boise State University, where he was named Mountain West Conference Golfer of the Year twice in 2021 and 2022, and won the Duck Invitational in 2021.
