Lily May Humphreys secured her maiden career win when landing the Joburg Ladies Open in March 2023. A look at Lily May Humphreys: What’s In The Bag.

Humphreys, a 20-year-old Englishwoman, came from behind to win the Joburg Ladies Open by two shots at Modderfontein Golf Club in Johannesburg.

A final round of six-under par saw Humphreys end the week on 12-under, two shots clear of Ana Pelaez Trivino and Moa Folke.

The win capped an impressive run of form for Humphreys, who has not finished outside of the top 10 in the first four events of the 2023 Sunshine Tour events.

This is Humphreys’ second full year on the Ladies European Tour after a debut season in 2022 in which T8 in the Big Green Egg Open was her best result.

Humphreys earned her card as the 2021 LET Access Series Order of Merit winner and previously played in the Junior Solheim Cup.

The win in Johannesburg saw Humphreys move up from 258 places in the Women’s Rolex Rankings to 263rd in the world.
