The LIV Golf commentators and broadcast team have been revealed with the team expanding for the third event of the series.
David Feherty, the former player and renowned golf analyst at the Golf Channel, has been announced as the newest face of the LIV Golf broadcasting team.
“When you think of legendary broadcasters in the world of golf, David Feherty’s name is at the top of the list,” said Greg Norman, CEO and Commissioner of LIV Golf. “His authentic style blends unique perspective, personality and wit that educates and entertains fans like no other.
“Following more than 20 years as a player, he brought a new voice to the sport that has transcended golf culture. We’re extremely proud of the LIV Golf broadcast launch through just two events and David will only strengthen that experience at Bedminster and beyond.”
Feherty added: “As a storyteller, this is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to help write a new chapter in this sport’s history.
“LIV Golf is developing ideas and innovations that are going to grow the audience and engage the next generation of players and fans. I’m excited by the energy LIV Golf is creating and I’m eager to contribute to a world-class broadcast production that has a vision towards the future.”
The new golf tour, also referred to as the Saudi Golf League, got underway on June 9-11 at Centurion Golf Club in London before the second event was stage in Portland.
The latest event heads to Trump National Bedminster in New Jersey as the likes of Dustin Johnson, Phil Mickelson, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, Louis Oosthuizen, Sergio Garcia, Martin Kaymer, Graeme McDowell and Charl Schwartzel bid for victory.
The LIV Golf coverage is broadcast on the tour’s website, YouTube channel and Facebook page. But who are the men and women calling the action?
“The LIV Golf broadcast will be unlike anything fans have seen before,” Will Staeger, LIV Golf’s spokesman, said.
“The innovations we are introducing to the sport will be distributed to existing and new audiences all over the world as we deliver golf coverage dedicated to entertainment and access.
