The American hadn’t tasted success since 2018, but ended the wait for a title when recording a one-shot victory in the 2025 Open de France.

It was Kim’s first DP World Tour win as finished on 16-under par at Saint-Nom-la-Breteche and held off Jeong-Weon Ko and Elvis Smylie by a single shot.

Kim’s only previous win on tour came in the 2018 John Deere Classic, two years after joining the PGA Tour, which he won by eight shots.
