Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen What's In The Bag

Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen claimed his first DP World Tour title when winning the Australian Open in December 2025. A look at Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen: What’s In The Bag.

The Dane has long been regarded as a rising star of the DP World Tour and he broke his duck with a one shot victory in the 2025 Australian Open for his breakthrough win.

Neergaard-Petersen finished on 15-under par at Royal Melbourne Golf Club and it was enough to hold off home favourite Cameron Smith by a shot.

In 2025, he had finished runner-up in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters as well as the Puerto Rico Open on the PGA Tour, and ended third in the season-ending DP World Tour Championship.

Neergaard-Petersen earned his DP World Tour status after three wins in the space of six months on the Challenge Tour in 2024.

He won for the first time as a professional in the Kolkata Challenge and followed it with victories in the UAE Challenge and the Big Green Egg German Challenge.

In the DP World Tour’s Team Cup, Neergaard-Petersen represented the Continental Europe team in 2025.
