The Japanese star was dominant at Jian Lake Blue Bay Golf Course as she won the 2025 Blue Bay LPGA by six shots.

Takeda finished on 17-under par in the LPGA Tour event in China, six clear of nearest challenger Minjee Lee.

Takeda’s other LPGA Tour win also came in an Asian event as she took the title at the Toto Japan Classic on home soil in November 2024 with a playoff victory over Marina Alex.

Takeda is also an eight-time LPGA Tour of Japan winner having won the KKT Cup Vantelin Ladies Open, Fujisankei Ladies Classic, Bridgestone Ladies Open, Hokkaido Meiji Cup, Golf 5 Ladies Professional Golf Tournament, Sony JLPGA Championship, Japan Women’s Open Golf Championship and Toto Japan Classic in 2024.

Takeda has a partnership with FujiFilm among her sponsorships having teamed up with the brand in 2024.
