Liu dominated on home soil in China to win the 2025 Aramco China Championship by three shots from Chiara Tamburlini, Liqi Zeng, Qianhui Lin and Trichat Cheenglab.
The Chinese star had not won at elite tour level but her total of 16-under was much too good for the field in the Ladies European Tour event.
Liu’s previous wins as a professional all came on the Epson Tour having won the Island Resort Championship, IOA Golf Classic and Epson Tour Championship in 2018.
She also won the 2020 FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship, the Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic and Casino Del Sol Golf Classic in 2021 and the 2024 Carlisle Arizona Women’s Golf Classic.
