Kim had not tasted victory since November 2020 but finally return to the winners’ circle when recording a four-shot victory in the 2025 BMW Ladies Championship.
Playing on home soil in South Korea at the Pine Beach Golf Links, Kim finished on 24-under par for a dominant four shot victory over Nasa Hataoka.
Kim now has 13 LPGA Tour wins, the first of which came back in 2015 when winning the Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic, LPGA Lotte Championship and Blue Bay LPGA.
Two wins in 2016 came in the JTBC Founders Cup and Meijer LPGA Classic and were followed by the 2017 Citibanamex Lorena Ochoa Match Play and 2018 Thornberry Creek LPGA Classic.
Kim then won three times in 2019 in the LPGA Mediheal Championship, Marathon Classic and CME Group Tour Championship.
The first of two wins in 2020 was her first and only major having won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship before also landing the title at the Pelican Women’s Championship a month later.
Kim is also a five-time LPGA of Korea winner with victories in the 2013 Lotte Mart Women’s Open, Hanwha Finance Classic and MetLife-Hankyung KLPGA Championship and 2014 Woori Investment & Securities Ladies Championship and MBN Ladies Open.
