SkyCaddie SX500 GPS Review

SkyCadde SX500

SkyCaddie have released the new SkyCaddie SX500 GPS as the company’s premium distance measuring device.

Replacing the SkyCaddie Touch as the top spec GPS option from the manufacturer, the SX500 takes things to the next level and provides golfers with everything needed out on the course.

The SX500 GPS has been released to mark the 20th anniversary of the formation of the company and it stacks up as one of the best yet for golfers looking for a new GPS in 2018.

SkyCaddie are so confident in the quality of the new release, it comes with the slogan “Nothing else comes close”.

SkyCaddie SX500 Features

The handheld GPS comes with a 5-inch colour touchscreen displaying an HD graphics of each hole and the distances to the green, bunkers and hazards, all displayed on the “largest and best view in golf” according to SkyCaddie.

SkyCaddie also state that the SX500 is the most powerful product it has produced, while the ultra-fast multi-core processor is as fast as anything before and ensures golfers won’t be delayed in getting the course information required for every shot.

With built in WiFi and the latest technological advances also in the SX500, SkyCaddie are doing their bit to help golfers bring down scores.

There are more than 35,000 worldwide courses preloaded when you purchase the SkyCaddie device. Thanks to the in-built Wifi, you won’t need to update anything by connecting to a computer either.

The maps, meanwhile, provide “unmatched accuracy” when it comes to the distance display and detail show.

SkyCaddie have also come up with a rugged shell to the SX500 and ensured that the device is also highly water-resistant to ensure it is durable in all weather conditions, or if dropped out on the course.

SX500 GPS Verdict

The SX500 looks like the best creation yet from SkyCaddie. It sits at the top of the range of options both technologically and price wise, but you are purchasing arguably the most impressive GPS device there is.
