Srixon have launched new 2025 irons with the release of the ZXi5 and ZXi7 models with the range adding more accuracy and forgiveness.
A replacement for the manufacturer’s premium ZX5 Mk II and ZX7 Mk II, the two models are also joined by the ZXi4 and ZXiU long irons, new ZXi drivers, fairway woods and hybrids.
The two new designs were first unveiled ahead of a tour debut at the 2024 Procore Championship in September 2024 as they go through a now standard Tour validation process that Srixon and other brands have used.
Now the full details have been revealed with a new i-Forging process used to unleash greater ball speeds, improved feel and more workability than in any previous model.
Srixon ZXi5 Irons Specs & Design
The ZXi5 irons are the third generation of this model and the changes from the Mk II version are subtle in search of more performance gains.
The ZXi5 are once again the players’ irons with a multi-forged clubhead construction with the ZX5 featuring SUP10 steel and the body a 1020 carbon steel.
The new i-Forging process has included Condensed Forging stretching from the high-toe area to add to the topline strength of the irons without taking away anything from both the durability and feel.

Srixon have also added tungsten weighting to the perimeter of the Main Frame design to perfect CG placement for ideal performance from the ZXi5.
The Mainframe face technology features variable thickness from toe to heel for maximum forgiveness wherever you strike from with weight savings enhancing the MOI thanks to a new series of milled channels on the back side of the face.
The ZXi5s feature a wider sole than the other models in the series with the Tour V.T. Sole’s ensure optimal impact through fairway, rough or sand and no loss of clubhead speed.
In the ZXi5 irons, progressive grooves are used with wider design in the 3-iron to 7-iron and deeper grooves that are closer together in the 8-iron to Approach Wedge.
The ZXi irons are available in 3-iron (20 degrees) to Sand Wedge (55 degrees).

Srixon ZXi7 Irons Specs & Design
The ZXi7 irons replace the ZX7 Mk II model and – just like the ZXi5 – the changes are more tweaks for performance gains than the design being ripped up and started again.
A cavity back players’ iron, the ZXi7s have a slightly refined weighting in the cavity from the PureFrame mass, which in a larger ride in this model for an enhanced sweet spot for better feel, stability and control.
The irons have a thinner topline and a narrower sole to create a more compact clubhead than the ZXi5, which can be combined to create a combo set.

The muscle-back cavity and shorter blade length design provides workability than low handicap golfers crave in a tour-preferred look.
The ZXi7 irons are crafted from a single piece forged softer S15C steel and feature the new i-Forging process that has added more strength in the hosel area.
The Tour V.T. Sole is retained with a higher bounce on the leading edge to stop irons digging into the turf and producing cleaning ball striking.
The grooves on the face are also progressive across the set with wider grooves on long irons (3-iron to 7-iron) and deeper on the shorter irons (8-iron to Approach Wedge) to improve the control on offer.
The ZXi7s are available in 3-iron (20 degrees) to Sand Wedge (56 degrees).
