Srixon ZXi7 Irons Review

Srixon ZXi7 irons have been launched as the manufacturer’s new players’ model for 2025, adding workability and forgiveness to the latest release.

A replacement for the manufacturer’s premium ZX7 Mk II, the ZXi7 joined the ZXi5, ZXi4 and ZXiU long irons in the range along with ZXi drivers, woods and hybrids.

The ZXi7s have been crafted using a new i-Forging process to unleash greater ball speeds, improved feel and more workability than in any previous model.

The irons also have refined weighting mass in the cavity of the improved PureFrame clubhead, which provides an enhanced sweet spot for better feel, stability and control.

Srixon ZXi7 Irons Specs & Design

The ZXi7 irons replace the ZX7 Mk II model and the changes are more tweaks for performance gains than the design being ripped up and started again.

The irons have a thinner topline and a narrower sole to create a more compact clubhead than the ZXi5, which can be combined to create a combo set.

The muscle-back cavity and shorter blade length design provides workability than low handicap golfers crave in a tour-preferred look.

The ZXi7 irons are crafted from a single piece forged softer S15C steel and feature the new i-Forging process that has added more strength in the hosel area.

Srixon ZXi7 Irons Face

The Tour V.T. Sole is retained with a higher bounce on the leading edge to stop irons digging into the turf and producing cleaning ball striking.

The grooves on the face are also progressive across the set with wider grooves on long irons (3-iron to 7-iron) and deeper on the shorter irons (8-iron to Approach Wedge) to improve the control on offer.

The ZXi7s are available in 3-iron (20 degrees) to Sand Wedge (56 degrees).

Srixon have improved the performance of the ZX7 Mk II irons and added more flexibility and strength in the new launch irons.

The ZXi7 irons have a classic look and now have better feel, a bigger sweet spot across the face and deliver time after time with more forgiveness achieved.
