The 2022 edition also represents the 150th Open.

Collin Morikawa is the reigning champion after winning the 2021 Open Championship at Royal St George’s.

The Open Championship Golf Format & Schedule

The Open Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the Old Course at St Andrews with a cut after the opening two rounds.
