Titleist SM11 Vokey Wedges

Titleist SM11 wedges have landed as the latest evolution in Vokey Design’s with a refined design and the widest range of configurations in the 2026 release.

Known as the industry-leading short game wedges, the new 2026 SM11 models expands on the Titleist SM10 performance with gains across the board.

The new design features refined grinds, consistent CG placement across all lofts and advanced spin technologies for elite control from any lie on the course.

Now available in 27 configurations with six sole grinds, the SM11 targets skilled players seeking versatility and predictability in their wedge play.

Pros & Cons

✅ Consistent launch across all grinds due to unified CG location for a given loft, ensuring predictable trajectory no matter the sole choice
✅ Enhanced spin from angled face texture, shot-specific grooves, and 5% larger groove volume with heat-treated durability for longer-lasting performance
✅ Expanded loft/bounce/grind matrix (27 options) allows precise fitting for swing type, course conditions, and shot preferences
✅ Multiple finishes (Tour Chrome, Nickel, Jet Black, Raw) for aesthetic customization without sacrificing performance
❌ Premium pricing, typically $180-$200 per wedge, positions them at the high end for custom-fitted sets
❌ Demanding for higher handicaps; full sole grinds like F require solid turf interaction skills compared to more forgiving cavity wedges
❌ Subtle performance gains over SM10 may not justify upgrade for all players, focusing refinements rather than revolution

Titleist Vokey SM11 wedges are the successor to the SM10 wedges and were officially launched in January 2026 as an upgraded design.

The SM11 continues what we know about the Vokey wedges and delivers tour-level precision through a complete range of 27 loft, bounce and grind combinations tailored for diverse swings and conditions.

The expanded range of combos is possible thanks to the wider range of grinds that now totals six options to cater for more golfers than ever before.

The grinds include F (full sole for square-faced shots), S (narrowed for versatility), D (high bounce dual bounce), M (multi-purpose low bounce), K (high bounce for firm turf) and L (low bounce for skilled open-face players).

The Vokey Spin System that has been part of the design throughout the history has also been improve for more consistency on approach play.

It now features deeper spin-milled grooves, progressive groove shapes that are micro-textured for full shots and deeper for partial as well as directional face texture for optimal friction in all conditions.

CG consistency has been worked on too to lock in launch angles, while heat-treated grooves double the durability for sustained spin over time.

The available lofts range from 44 degrees to 60 degrees for pitching wedge to lob wedge and two degrees gaps help create the perfect setup for your bag.

The wedges are available in Tour Chrome, Nickel, Jet Black and Raw finishes.

Titleist SM11 Wedges Review: Are they any good?

The SM11 is a top class newcomer for 2026 for low-handicap and elite golfers looking for shot-specific control with spin and flight predictability that enhances short game performance.

Refinements like the directional face texture boost friction for better contact time compared to the SM10 model, while the grind expansion supports creative shotmaking from bunkers, rough or tight lies.

There was little wrong with the SM10 wedges but Titleist have found incremental gains in consistency, spin and ball striking in the SM11.
