Topgolf Monona Launched As First Wisconsin Venue

Topgolf Monona will become the company’s first golf entertainment venue in Wisconsin when opening in fall 2026.

The Monona facility will be home to 72 outdoor climate-controlled and heated hitting bays across two levels, on-field targets and is fully equipped with Topgolf’s Toptracer technology.

Located in Monona, eight miles east of Madison, the new venue is scheduled to open on late 2026 when it will become Topgolf’s first Wisconsin location.

Chris Callaway, Topgolf Chief Development Officer, said: “We’re thrilled to break ground on the very first Topgolf in Wisconsin and join the University of Wisconsin Badger family.

“The venue will offer a new way for locals and visitors to connect, compete and play with friends and family while experiencing Topgolf’s unique style of modern golf.”

Nancy Moore, Mayor of Monona, added: “Topgolf was in search of its first Wisconsin location for quite some time, and we couldn’t be happier that they chose Monona.

“It will be a terrific recreational and entertainment venue, in the heart of the metro area, a draw for residents and visitors alike. It will also be an important anchor for the continued redevelopment of West Broadway.”

The Monona Topgolf venue will be located at 6400 Gisholt Drive in Monona, around eight miles to the east of Madison. 

The site will have a full-service restaurant and bar, an event space, outdoor patio area, over 100 HDTVs, music and entertainment.
