The 2022 Tour Championship takes place from August 25-28 at East Lake Golf Club. Watch a Tour Championship live stream of all the action from the PGA Tour event.

The event is the finale of the FedEx Cup series and the last tournament of the 2022 PGA Tour season.

The Tour Championship is being played at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta having returned to the venue in 2004.

The tournament was first held in 1987 when known as the Nabisco Championship before becoming the Tour Championship in 1991.

East Lake also staged the event in 1998, 2000 and 2002, while other hosts venues include Champions Golf Club at Cypress Creek, Southern Hills Country Club, The Olympic Club, Pinehurst Resort, Harbour Town Golf Links Pebble Beach and Oak Hills Country Club.

It is now the season-ending tournament with $18,000,000 up for grabs for the 30 remaining players in the FedExCup series, who all start with different scores depending on their positions in the points standings.

Patrick Cantlay is the reigning champion having won the event in 2021.

Tour Championship Golf Format & Schedule

The Tour Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes on the East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, Georgia.

The top 30 players on the FedEx Cup Standings take part, meaning there is no cut after the opening two rounds.

The players start with different scores with the FedEx Cup points leader at 10-under par, second at 8-under, third at 7-under, fourth at 6-under and fifth at 5-under.

The remainder field are 6-10 at 4-under, 11-15 at 3-under, 16-20 at 2-under, 21-25 at 1-under and 26-30 level par.

• Day 3 – Saturday, August 27
• Day 4 – Sunday, August 28

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $18,000,000 USD.
