Wilson Staff Model ZM wedges are a 2025 launch and a tour-inspired short-game option delivering precision, spin and control better than ever before.
The successor to the Wilson Staff Model wedges, the new ZM model meet the demands of modern shot-making and were designed in conjunction with Wilson’s tour staff including Padraig Harrington and Kevin Kisner.
Forged from 8620 carbon steel, the ZM wedge features a precision-milled face with deeper ZM grooves and garnet face blasting for enhanced spin, particularly in wet conditions.
The center of gravity is progressively positioned higher in the higher lofts, promoting a more controlled trajectory and consistency through the bag
Wilson Staff Model ZM Wedges Specs & Design
The Wilson ZM wedges are aimed at elite golfers who demand tour-level precision, spin and versatility in their short game.
Crafted from forged 8620 carbon steel, they deliver exceptional feel and feedback on delicate shots from around the greens and approaches.

The compact head shape features a straighter leading edge and a squared-off toe than previous models and it is designed to inspire confidence at address and aid alignment on full and partial swings.
The key to the ZM model is that the face is finished with precision-milled ZM grooves, which are deeper and narrower than standard wedge grooves for optimized spin – especially from the rough or in wet conditions.
The face also features a garnet blasting treatment, a face-texturing process that increases surface friction and enhances spin consistency across a range of lies.

A key design enhancement is the progressive center of gravity (CG), which is positioned lower in lower-lofted wedges and higher in the higher-lofted ones.
The revised CG promotes better launch conditions, more consistent distance control and a lower ball flight on short, and also makes the transition through the wedge set smoother when paired with cavity-back or forged irons.
The wedges are available in lofts of 46 degrees, 48 degrees, 50 degrees, 52 degrees, 54 degrees, 56 degrees, 58 degrees and 60 degrees. Bounce options range from 6 degrees to 12 degrees.
There is also a HT (Hi Toe) version available in 56 degrees and 60 degrees.
