2022 Presidents Cup Teams (USA vs Internationals)

Presidents Cup

Team USA and the Internationals clash in the Presidents Cup at Quail Hollow from September 22-25. A look at the 2022 Presidents Cup teams.

The 2022 Presidents Cup teams have been revealed by captains Davis Love III and Trevor Immelman with the 12-strong line-ups named for both sides.

The 14th Presidents Cup heads to Quail Hollow in Charlotte, North Carolina, with the United States the defending champions after winning the 2019 Presidents Cup at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Australia.

Who will win the 2022 Presidents Cup? We take a look at the teams selected for the United States and the Internationals.

United States Presidents Cup Team

The USA Ryder Cup team is made up of six automatic qualifiers – Scottie Scheffler, Patrick Cantlay, Xander Schauffele, Sam Burns, Justin Thomas and Tony Finau – from the FedEx Cup points standings since 2019.

Captain Davis Love III was handed six wildcard picks and opted for Jordan Spieth, Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Billy Horschel, Cameron Young and Kevin Kisner.

There was no Will Zalatoris, who just missed out on automatic qualification but was then ruled out with injury anyway.

Also missing from selection were the likes of Dustin Johnson, Talor Gooch, Patrick Reed and Bryson DeChambeau following their switch to LIV Golf.

Immelman has complimented the six with the selections of wildcards Christiaan Bezuidenhout, Cameron Davis, Si Woo Kim, K.H. Lee, Sebastian Munoz and Taylor Pendrith.
