The Canadian Women’s Open is part of the 2023 LPGA Tour season is being played Shaughnessy Golf Course in Vancouver having switched from Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club in Ontario.

This is the first time that Shaughnessy Golf Club has staged the CP Women’s Open.

The Canadian Open was first held in 2001 at Angus Glen Golf Club and has also be staged at Summerlea Golf and Country Club, Point Grey Golf & Country Club, Legends on the Niagara, Glen Arbour Golf Course, London Hunt and Country Club, Royal Mayfair Golf Club, Priddis Greens Golf & Country Club, St. Charles Country Club, Hillsdale Golf & Country Club, Vancouver Golf Club, Wascana Country Club, Magna Golf Club and Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club.

Paula Reto is the reigning champion after winning the CP Women’s Open in 2022.

Previous champions include Annika Sörenstam, Meg Mallon, Beth Daniel, Christie Kerr, Lorena Ochoa, Katherine Hull, Suzann Pettersen, Michelle Wie, Brittany Lincicome, Lydia Ko, Ariya Jutanugarn, Park Sung-hyun, Brooke Henderson and Ko Jin-young.

The Canadian Women’s Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Shaughnessy Golf Course in Vancouver, Canada, with a cut after the opening two rounds.

• Day 3 – Saturday, August 26
• Day 4 – Sunday, August 27

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $2,350,000 USD.
