Held last year as the inaugural ISPS Handa Championship in Japan, the event was staged as a Japan Golf Tour tournament only due to Covid-19 travel restrictions.

This year, as was planned for 2022, it will be co-sanctioned and will be part of the 2023 DP World Tour calendar.

It takes place at PGM Ishioka Golf Club in Omitama in Japan.

Yuto Katsuragawa is the defending champion after winning the inaugural tournament in 2022. As an alternative version in Europe, Pablo Larrazabal won the ISPS Handa Championship in Spain event.

The ISPS Handa Championship in Japan golf will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at PGM Ishioka Golf Club in Omitama in Japan.
