The 2023 event, which is one of five major championships in women’s golf, is being played on the Lower Course at Baltusrol Golf Club.

The Women’s PGA Championship was first played in 1955 and heads to Baltusrol for the first time in its history.

Baltusrol is no stranger to hosting majors having staged the US Open in 1903, 1915, 1936, 1954, 1967, 1980 and 1993, the USPGA Championship in 2005 and 2016 and the US Women’s Open in 1961 and 1985.

In-Gee Chin is the reigning champion after winning the Women’s PGA Championship in 2022 at Congressional Country Club.

Previous champions include Patty Sheehan, Nancy Lopez, Beth Daniel, Meg Mallon, Betsy King, Laura Davies, Se Ri Pak, Juli Inkster, Karrie Webb, Annika Sörenstam, Suzann Pettersen, Anna Nordqvist, Christie Kerr, Inbee Park, Brooke Henderson, Danielle Kang and Nelly Korda.

Women’s PGA Championship Golf Format & Schedule

The Women’s PGA Championship will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at the Lower Course at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey, with a cut after the opening two rounds.

• Day 4 – Sunday, June 25

The tournament carries a total prize fund of $9,000,000 USD.
