The Australian Open is the latest event of the new 2024/25 DP World Tour season and is staged at Kingston Heath Golf Club and The Victoria Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.
The tournament moves back to Victoria from Sydney, where it was staged at The Australian Golf Club and The Lakes Golf Club in 2023.
As in 2023, the Australian Open will be run as a dual event along with the Women’s Australian Open.
The Victoria Golf Club stages action on the opening two days, while Kingston Heath Golf Club sees play across all four days.
The tournament dates back to 1904 and has been part of the ANZ Tour since 1973. In 2022, the tournament was part of the DP World Tour for the first time.
Joaquin Niemann is the reigning champion after winning the last edition in 2023.

Australian Open Format & Schedule
The Australian Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Kingston Heath Golf Club and The Victoria Golf Club in Melbourne, Australia.
A field of 156 players will play a round at each of the courses on the opening two days. The top 60 will make the cut and play weekend rounds at Kingston Heath Golf Club.
