The Australian PGA Championship is the first event of the new 2024/25 DP World Tour season and is staged at Royal Queensland Golf Club in Brisbane, Australia.
The tournament dates back to 1929 as a match play event and remained that way through to 1964, after which it has been played as a strokeplay competition.
It was part of the ANZ and One Asia Tours from 2009 and 2014 and was elevated to European Tour status in 2015.
It was previously held in January but moved to November in 2022 in a calendar rejig.
