The Genesis Invitational takes place at the famous Riviera course in Pacific Palisades in California, with Tiger Woods a host of the event.

The 15-time major winner will make his first appearance of 2024 in the event this week.

The Genesis Invitational dates back to 1928 when first staged as the Los Angeles Open. It has also been known as the Nissan Open and Northern Trust Open.

A top class field typically lines up at the PGA Tour event with big names among the former winners including Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer, Tom Watson, Fred Couples, Nick Faldo, Ernie Els, Adam Scott, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson and Max Homa.

Genesis Invitational Golf Format & Schedule

The Genesis Invitational will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at Riviera Country Club with a cut after the opening two rounds.

• Day 1 – Thursday, February 15
• Day 2 – Friday, February 16
• Day 3 – Saturday, February 17
• Day 4 – Sunday, February 18

The tournament carries an increased prize fund of $20,000,000 USD.
