Team USA and Team Europe lock horns at Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Virginia for the 2024 Solheim Cup from Friday, September 13 to Sunday, September 15. A look at the 2024 Solheim Cup teams.
The 2024 Solheim Cup line-ups will be chosen by the returning captains with both Stacy Lewis and Suzann Pettersen remaining at the helm following the 2023 Solheim Cup.
The 19th Solheim Cup heads to Virginia for the first time with Europe the defending champions after winning the 2019 Solheim Cup at Gleneagles and 2021 title at Inverness Club.
They retained the cup in 2023 at Finca Cortesin in Spain following a 14-14 draw.

The USA team is made up of nine automatic qualifiers and three captains picks made by Stacy Lewis.
The top seven players on the U.S. Solheim Cup points list earn spots with Nelly Korda, Lilia Vu, Lauren Coughlin, Ally Ewing, Allisen Corpuz, Megan Khang and Andrea Lee occupying those spots.
Rose Zhang and Alison Lee earned their spots as the top two players on the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings not already selected.
Three more players were be handed captain’s picks from Lewis, who opted for the experience of Jennifer Kupcho and Lexi Thompson as well as rookie Sarah Schmelzel.

Suzann Pettersen remains as captain and has selected Anna Nordqvist, Laura Davies, Caroline Martens and Mel Reid as vice captains.
The European team is made up of eight automatic qualifiers, including Charley Hull and Esther Henseleit as the top two players from the LET Solheim Cup standings.
Celine Boutier, Maja Stark, Linn Grant, Leona Maguire, Carlota Ciganda and Madelene Sagstrom have earned their spots as the top six LET members on the Women’s World Golf Rankings not already selected.
There are also be four captain’s selections with Pettersen opting for Georgia Hall, Anna Nordqvist, Emily Pedersen and Albane Valenzuela.
2024 Solheim Cup Schedule
Day 1 (Friday, September 13): 4 x foursomes (morning) and 4 x fourballs (afternoon).
Day 2 (Saturday, September 14): 4 x foursomes (morning) and 4 x fourballs (afternoon).
Day 3 (Sunday, September 15): 12 x singles matches.
