The 2024 USPGA Championship will take place between May 16-19 at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky.

The 106th USPGA Championship heads to Valhalla, which has staged three USPGA Championships previously as well as the Ryder Cup and Senior PGA Championship.

Brooks Koepka is the reigning champion having won the USPGA Championship title in 2023 at Oak Hill Country Club for his third USPGA and his fifth major title.

It will be the fourth time that Valhalla has staged the USPGA Championship, as well as hosting the 2008 Ryder Cup.

Valhalla hosted the USPGA Championship in 1996, 2000 and 2014 with Mark Brooks, Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy the champions.

The Ryder Cup in 2008 at Valhalla saw United States beat Team Europa 16.5-11.5.

Valhalla also played host to the Senior USPGA Championship in 2004 and 2011.

Brooks Koepka won his third PGA Championship in 2022 when recording a two-shot victory over Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler at Oak Hills.

Koepka finished on nine-under par in as he added to his major victories in the US Open in 2017 and 2018 and PGA Championship in 2018 and 2019.

Who is the favourite for the USPGA Championship?

The leading three players in the world – Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy – head the early betting markets.

Defending champion Brooks Koepka is also prominent ahead of the defence of his title.
