Major winner Clark had suffered a drought since winning in February 2024, but he returned to the winners’ circle with victory in the 2026 CJ Cup Byron Nelson.
Clark finished on 30-under par at TPC Craig Ranch, three clear of Si Woo Kim for what was his fourth PGA Tour victory.
Clark joined the PGA Tour in 2018, but had to wait to land a first victory in the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow in May 2023.
Little more than a month later, Clark became a major champion after winning the 2023 US Open at Los Angeles Country Club.
In February 2024, he seet a course record 12-under par 60 at Pebble Beach in the third round to snatch a one-shot victory over Ludvig Aberg in the shortened AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am.
Clark has been part of the United States’ Ryder Cup team in 2023 and winning Presidents Cup side in 2024.
