The Texas Open was first held in 1922, making it the third oldest PGA Tour event and the sixth oldest worldwide.

The event is played on the AT&T Oaks Course at TPC San Antonio, and is the latest event of the 2024 PGA Tour season.

The Valero Texas Open is the final event before The 2024 Masters and attracts a strong field looking for form head of the Augusta National major.

Corey Connors is the reigning champion after winning the event in 2023 for his second Texas Open title having also won in 2019.

Texas Open will be played over four rounds / 72 holes at TPC San Antonio with a cut after the opening two rounds.
