The Women’s Scottish Open was first played in 1986 when first added to the Ladies European Tour calendar. It is now co-sanctioned with the LPGA Tour, which began in 2017.
The 2024 Ladies European Tour event is being played Dundonald Links in Troon, Scotland, for the third year running. The venue also staged the tournament in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
The Scottish Open has also been held at Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club, Cawder, The Carrick, Archerfield Links, Gullane, Renaissance Club and Dumbarnie Links.
Celine Boutier is the reigning champion after winning the Women’s Scottish Open in 2023.
