The tournament is the opening event of the 2025 LPGA Tour season and is being played Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, Florida, United States.
The Tournament of Champions, sponsored by Hilton Grand Vacations, is limited to players who have won an event in the previous two LPGA Tour seasons.
The Tournament of Champions was first held in 2019 and is the first prize of the new season in January each year.
Lydia Ko is the reigning champion after winning the 2024 Tournament of Champions by two shots.
